Santorini

Ask about a commissionIn the summer of 2026 I finally stood on Santorini, a place I had wanted to see for as long as I can remember. It is the part of the trip that followed me home.
The island is built in layers, white houses stacked down the cliffs as though the hillside were reaching for the water. Above them the churches lift their blue domes into a sky the same impossible blue, and below, the Aegean holds the afternoon light like something poured and left to shine. I remember thinking I would have to paint it before I lost the exact color.
This is that painting: the domes, the whitewashed walls, and the sea waiting at the bottom of every street.
